Avatar

So one of the topics that caught my eye was the movie Avatar.  I saw this movie with Abbie and it was absolutely amazing!  I loved the whole thing and could watch it over and over again.  This was probably one of the best movies that I have ever seen.  It had everything from suspense to romance to action.  I was completely lost in this movie.

I loved the romance in the movie.  I liked how Neytiri could see the good in Jake when the rest of her tribe couldn’t.  She was a beautiful creature and she was my favorite character.  I also liked the character Jake.  He was funny and I like how he was able to walk through his avatar.  This movie was a cartoon but the creatures were designed in a way that you couldn’t help but be captivated by their beauty.

I liked the action in this movie also.  I hated how the army acted in it though.  I couldn’t believe that something that is supposed to do good could be so selfish as to do something this evil.  It was appalling how one man could stand and watch this species suffer and get a thrill out of it.  Even though the army did a terrible thing, this was still the greatest movie I have ever experienced.

Why hello you sad, pitiful world.  As you may have noticed from the above subject, this is not Chesney.  This is someone else.  Someone you don’t know.  Someone you should be afraid of.  It is… ME!  I have come here to take over this blog and eventually, to rule the universe.  In a matter of days you will all be under my command.   There is absolutely nothing you or any of your commrades can do.  So, until I rule every part of your existence, farewell to all you earthlings.

Fiction Writing

Fiction…where to start.  I would have to say that fiction isn’t really my strong suit.  I find it rather hard to write about something that hasn’t actually happened to me.  I admire those who are able to take their imaginations to different levels and make things up on the spot.  I would give so much to be able to write and create a story using only my imagination.  I can, however use my imagination to play up things that actually happened to me and I guess that’s as good as its going to get.

One of my favorite authors is Stephanie Meyer.  I love how she can take one dream and create 4 books.  One of my favorites of her books is The Host.  This book is one of the most creative stories I have ever read.  She takes her writing to a whole new level and I envy her talent.

One of the hardest parts of writing fiction, un my opinion, is coming up with characters.  I find it extremely hard to come up with names and personalities that people are going to be able to relate to.  If I write a character I don’t want them to seem one-dimensional and its hard for me to write them any other way.
